Vice Presidente de Tecnología Competitiva (SWG) de IBM. Shedletsky fue el responsable del cambio táctico de IBM hacia una estrategia de software abierto. También fue el Gerente de Diseño del primer release del IBM's Unix operating system, AIX/6000, y gestionó el grupo de desarrolladores de software responsables de los productos de emulación de IBM's 3270. 

He is the IBM Vice President of Competitive Technology, SWG.  He is responsible for creating and delivering competitive information and training to IBM customers, the IBM sales force and IBM Business Partners.  He plays a major role in setting IBM's corporate competitive strategy.
